Are you hard of hearing?
Are you concerned about your hearing? Are you missing things in conversation or having trouble getting your hearing aids working well for you?
Hearing loss can lead to communication breakdown and result in frustration and isolation.
Sometimes hearing loss can deprive a person of important life signals e.g. the kettle boiling, a tap at the door.
Through our association with national provider Hearing Therapy, a trusted and free Ministry of Health funded service, we can help you live well with hearing loss.
Hearing Therapy can offer you access to:
- A hearing evaluation with a qualified hearing therapist
- Information on hearing aids and other technology, including available funding options
- Practical advice and tips for living with hearing conditions like tinnitus
- Strategies for you, your family and whanau to ease communication
- Referrals to other health providers, if needed.
Hearing Therapy, provided by Your Way | Kia Roha, is free for all New Zealand citizens and permanent residents aged 16 years and over.
