There are many reasons why you may want to hire from Mobility Centre.

Perhaps you want to see if a mobility scooter really would improve your life. Or maybe you want to see whether our rise and recline lift chair would fit in your room. Or you might just be a “try before you buy” kind of person.

At Mobility Centre, we aren’t concerned with why you decide to hire from us. We are only concerned with your ability to live comfortably and independently.

For peace of mind while hiring our scooters they are covered by the AA Roadservice – Get Home Safely Programme. In the unlikely event that your hire scooter breaks down this programme will transport you home and either get the scooter to your home or arrange for it to be taken to the closest repair shop. This programme is available for you to contact seven days a week.

Our stores in Hamilton, Tauranga, Hastings and Lower Hutt offer a core range of bathroom, kitchen and mobility products. e.g. shower stools, wheelchairs, knee scooters, ramps, walkers, raised toilet seats, commodes and beds.

Do you have relatives or guests coming to stay who need extra help around your home and don’t want to bring their equipment with them?

We can help!  We can provide you with a rental toilet seat raiser, toilet frame, walker, wheelchair, bath-board, shower stool and many other items.  We have a huge variety of makes, models and sizes of wheelchairs available to hire.

Are you recovering from surgery or injury?

We can help!  We provide post-operative rehabilitation equipment for many types of surgery including hip and knee replacements. We also provide many other types of rehabilitation equipment to assist recovery from an injury. We can come and assess your home locally so that you can recover as quickly and comfortably as possible.
